International Human Rights Day event (Write for Rights and Friends of Wadi Foquin speaker)

Tuesday December 10th, 6:30-8 pm Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship (BUF)
BUF’s Social and Environmental Justice Committee and AIUSA Local Group 270 have invited a Palestinian from the West Bank to speak with us in honor of International Human Rights Day. The event will also feature the annual Amnesty International Write for Rights, a global action and opportunity to write on behalf of people whose rights have been denied..
There may also be other speakers from Gaza participating. Information will be shared about the most effective organizations helping people in Gaza right now. No charge, but a free will offering will be accepted during the talk to benefit one of these organizations. All who come in the spirit of goodwill are welcome.
