Write for Rights Event at Teaism Penn Quarter, Washington DC, 8 December 2024, 11am – 1pm

Get your write on! Amnesty International Local Groups 211, 529 and 159 are hosting our annual Write for Rights event on Sunday, December 8th, from 11am to 1pm, at Teaism in Penn Quarter, 400 8th Street NW, Washington, DC 20004. Write for Rights is Amnesty International’s largest annual letter writing campaign in support of International Human Rights Day. We will write letters for ten different cases designated by Amnesty International for the 2024 campaign. Teaism in Penn Quarter is easily accessible, located near the Navy Archives (the Green and Yellow line) and walkable from Chinatown and Metro Center. Teaism has wonderful food and tea, so please come hungry and thirsty!
